My name is Erica.  I live in a suburb of Cincinnati, OH with my husband, son, and dog.  I have lived in this city my whole life, and by now I like it pretty well.

I love taking photos, and lots of them.  Photography is just a hobby for me, and although I have had no training, my competitive nature drives me to always try to capture that perfect shot… I am still working on getting it!  I like to shoot all kinds of things- I always have more way more ideas of “cool” shots that I’d like to get than I actually have the time (or the talent) to capture.  That is part of the reason I am doing this project.  Taking at least one blog-post-worthy shot a day will make me focus on putting more time and energy into taking interesting pictures, and hopefully learn some things and improve along the way.

Besides this- I am a pretty busy person with a very active family.  When I am not at work, I play lots and lots of soccer (indoor and outdoor), run in the occasional race, and play sand volleyball with my husband.  My son is a little tornado on two feet and enjoys playing soccer and absolutely loves playing t-ball.  As a family, we like camping and boating down at Lake Cumberland in the summer, skiing in winter, and doing anything else that sounds like it might be fun.  We also enjoy being couch potatoes and watching TV, movies, or reading whenever we’re not too busy with everything else.
